“Baroque vs. Romanticism"
“Baroque vs. Romanticism" - Fabian Egger
Amadeus Chamber Orchestra invites you to a special concert concluding the first half of the musical year, titled “Baroque vs. Romanticism.”
On June 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the sounds of the ensemble led by Anna Duczmal-Mróz will once again fill the hall. This will be the last opportunity before the summer break to hear the orchestra in its traditional, well-known concert venue in Poznań. The evening will be graced by a performance from the outstanding young flutist Fabian Egger, with whom Amadeus has already had the pleasure of collaborating during a concert at the Konzerthaus Dortmund, receiving enthusiastic reactions from the audience.
The concert program combines the elegance of the Baroque with the depth of Romanticism:
• Johann Sebastian Bach – Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 in B-flat major, BWV 1051
• Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach – Concerto for Flute and Orchestra in D minor, Wq 22
• Johannes Brahms – String Sextet No. 2 in G major, Op. 36
This carefully curated repertoire invites you to immerse yourself in a subtle interplay of tones and emotions. Let this concert serve as a musical culmination of the season—a moment of respite and an encounter with beauty before the summer break.
We invite you to join us in experiencing this exceptional evening and ending the season in style.
