About
On December 14 at 6:00 p.m., we invite you to the AMU Auditorium for the last concert of the Amadeus Orchestra before Christmas, conducted by Anna Duczmal-Mróz. It will be a great opportunity to feel the unique atmosphere and immerse yourself in the extraordinary virtuosity of the performing artists. The evening, entitled “Finesse for Christmas,” will feature the outstanding soprano Joanna Moskowicz, a singer with a phenomenal personality and voice, winner of many prestigious awards, and a master of coloratura. She will showcase her operatic artistry in soprano arias by Verdi, Rossini, Donizetti, and Bellini.
The title “Finesse for Christmas” is a promise of a unique atmosphere and a reference to the creative lightness of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's Octet in E-flat major, a work characterized by the youthful finesse and lightness of its 16-year-old composer combined with mature compositional virtuosity. May this concert be an invitation to celebrate – with the finesse that has distinguished the performances of the Amadeus Orchestra for years.
The program includes:
F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy – Octet in E-flat major, Op. 20
Verdi, Rossini, Dionizetti, Bellini - selected soprano arias
Performers:
Anna Duczmal-Mróz – conductor
Joanna Moskowicz – soprano
