Mornings with Amadeus
Mornings with Amadeus is Poland's first original project designed for young people in grades 5 to 8 of elementary school. The aim of this event is to introduce and familiarize young people with the world of professional musicians, showing them what everyday life in an orchestra looks like, how rehearsals and preparations for concerts take place. Young music lovers have the opportunity to break down the barrier that the stage often represents and experience music while sitting among the musicians. In the midst of music, in the heart of the orchestra is the motto of this project. During this intimate concert, the conductor talks about the pieces being performed, referring to the world of history, visual arts, and painting. Not only the pieces themselves are discussed, but also their smaller elements, so that young people know what music consists of. Our idea is to transport the world of young people into the very heart of orchestral music.
A similar project was previously carried out in 2025 in cooperation with TVP3.
The current format of this event is designed for 30 people (students + teachers) and will take place on March 25, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio at Aleje Marcinkowskiego 3 in Poznań in our rehearsal room. The event is free of charge and dedicated to students in grades 5 to 8. The project combines fun, learning, and inspiration to encourage young people to discover a passion for music.
The next editions of the project will take place on April 15 and May 15.
Representatives of educational institutions willing to participate in the project are kindly requested to contact Ms. Magdalena Miałkas-Missal at administracja@amadeus.pl.

The project was co-financed by the Local Government of the Wielkopolska Region.
