This Wednesday, January 28, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio will be recording for Polish Radio S.A. in the University Hall of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
Under the baton of Anna Duczmal-Mróz, the ensemble will record one of the most important works of early Romanticism – Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's Octet for Strings in E-flat major, Op. 20, in a unique arrangement for string orchestra by Agnieszka Duczmal.
This recording is part of the orchestra's rich archive of recordings and is an opportunity to revisit a repertoire which, in the ensemble's interpretation, gains a symphonic momentum without losing its chamber music finesse.
